Recipe Impression

A refreshing pale Czech lager with considerable malt and hop character and a long finish. The malt flavors are complex for a Pilsner-type beer. The bitterness is strong and clean but lacks harshness, which gives a wellbalanced, rounded flavor impression that enhances drinkability. 

Данный стиль пива такой же бодрящий и чистый, как и все Пилзнеры, но здесь должен быть богатый, приятный и сложный солодовый аромат, с пряной Хмелевой горечью.

В сравнении с Немецким Пилзом, здесь больше солодовой сладости, которой мы достигнем использовав солод группы Карапилз. Так же, это поможет смягчить значительную хмелевшую горечь для большего баланса.

Для чешских лагеров вполне подходит мягкая вода, с низким содержанием минералов

Recipe description

From the hops perspective the best choice is obvious Saaz.

Single rest at 67C for 60 min

Use sufficient amount of Lager yeast (rehydrated in advance or o proper starter). 

Ferment at 10C

Cold age the beer at least for 4 weeks and allow it lagering well before bottling or drinking.

Carbonate from 2.0 to 2.5 volumes of CO2
