Description
The granddaughter of Pioneer, Sovereign is an English variety bred in the mid-1990s. Floral, grassy and minty on the nose, its bittering qualities are classic and well rounded. It has also been reported to impart subtle green tea and vanilla aspects to a beer. Works well in conjunction with Goldings. Best for American Lager, American Pale Ale
